Cancellation policy

At Driftwood & Honey, every order is handmade to order in our Tampa studio. Because production starts shortly after you check out, our cancellation policy is built around how quickly we can pause work on your piece. Here's what you need to know.

Standard Orders

You may cancel a standard order for a full refund if you contact us within 12 hours of placing your order. After 12 hours, production may have already begun on your pieces and we cannot guarantee cancellation — but we will always try.

To cancel a standard order, email hello@driftwoodandhoney.com with your order number and the word "CANCEL" in the subject line.

If Production Has Already Begun

If we have already started hand-pouring or finishing your pieces when you request cancellation:

  • We will stop work where we can and refund the unproduced portion of your order.
  • Finished or in-progress items will either be shipped to you as ordered, or refunded at our discretion if they can be repurposed.

We will always be transparent about what stage your order is at and what is or isn't possible.

Custom & Event Orders

Custom orders for weddings, corporate events, and personalized pieces are subject to a different policy because of the bespoke materials, sourcing, and labor involved:

  • Custom orders may be cancelled for a full refund within 48 hours of order confirmation, before any custom sourcing or production begins.
  • After 48 hours, custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun, due to the bespoke nature of the work.
  • Any deposits paid toward a custom or event order are non-refundable once we have committed materials to your project.

Refunds After Cancellation

Once a cancellation is approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear on your statement.

Subscriptions & Recurring Orders

If we offer subscription or recurring purchase options in the future, you will be able to pause, skip, or cancel a recurring order at any time from your customer account, or by emailing us. Cancellation of a subscription does not affect any orders that have already shipped.
